Pitt Parent Volunteers are selected to recruit prospective students while their son or daughter
is attending the University of Pittsburgh, and occasionally during the year after graduation.
Pitt Parent Volunteers typically assist with recruitment activities for two to four years.
PART members could be expected to do any or all of the following activities: 1) visit
a high school in your area to speak to students, administrative staff, or drop off recruitment
materials; 2) attend a college fair or college night in your area; 3) attend on-campus
recruitment programs; 4) be contacted by, or make contact with, admitted or prospective
students, or their parents, from your area; 5) be contacted by fellow PART volunteers; 6)
complete an online quiz regarding admissions policies and procedures once a year.
